Collaboration in the Cultural Week Italia llama a México, from October 24 to November 2, 2017
This initiative consisted of the presentation of the bilingual book Dramaturgia Italiana Contemporánea, the presentation of a 20 minute fragment of the monologue Aquila Sapiens Sapiens, with the performance of Luis Miguel López and the direction of Enrique Vázquez and the full monologue Conjuros a production of Mímesis Theater in the Department of Hispanics of L’Universita La Sapienza. The program also included a conference on Mexican Culture by staff of the Secretaría de Cultura de Jalisco (SC) and the exhibition of some pieces of the Salón de la Plástica with works by Jalisco artists Jacob Flores , Cecilia Andalón, Karla de Lara, Emmanuel Mendoza, César Ramírez and Marco Sosa. Thanks to the management of Balsia Producciones, each of the invited artists produced works inspired by the monologues included in the book. The compilation of the book was made by Luis Miguel López and Efraín Franco, the traductors are Enrique Vázquez and Giuseppina Mortola.
The autors are: María Letizia Compatangelo, Aquilino, Enrico Bagnato, Duska Bisconti, Angelo Callipo, Maura del Serra, Gennaro Francione, Luciana Luppi, Guglielmo Masetti Zannini, Patricia Monaco, Liliana Paganini, Luigi Pasarelli, Massimiliano Perrotta, Antonio Sapienza, Flavio Sciole and Angela Villa.
In addition to being present in this week the staff of Balsia Producciones: Cecilia and Claudia Andalón, Enrique Vázquez Lozano and Luam Vázquez Rodríguez, as an audiovisual production assistant, gave workshops on adaptation of texts to theater and puppets for members of the Centro Cultural Samuel Joaquín Flores residing in the cities of Rome, Venice and Milan. The audiovisual production team of Balsia Producciones is also made up of Gustavo Rodríguez and Ruth Rosas.
